Already in MfS now "This account can't be used for Microsoft for Startups credits"

I signed up to Microsoft fot Startups a couple of months ago. Now I was at the end of my first 1000$ and was about to prepare the second trench.

Now MSFT has completely revamped the experience but my account is now "This account can't be used for Microsoft for Startups credits". I cannot access the old experience or do any Startup related stuff, I can only see my initial 1000$ credit expire.

Of course, "this account" worked perfectly with the original experience.

Because of the error it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach out to MfS Support at all :(

The account being used now is the one that was used for registration (under the previous MfS experience). That account is of course now linked to the Azure tenant. Credit Activation was already done and my next action was "verify your business to unlock ..." -- I cannot use the portal support path because of the account error. and attempting the Azure Support path recommended fails as Azure Support sent me here.
