Cant get volume with headphones to go above 37 on samsung book4 edge with windows 11

Hi, i cant get headphones to go louder than 37 on my samsung laptop, its so annoying! the alert box pops up, i click allow, but it still wont let me increase the volume.

Have the book4 edge with snapdragon x plus processor and i think its using the qualcom audio, not realtech.

Can somebody PLEASE HELP ME.

I understand how frustrating this is, especially when selecting Allow does not remove the limit.

Samsung documents this exact “volume stuck at 37” behavior as related to its headphone hearing-protection warning. Please try:

Disconnect the headphones.
Fully restart the laptop using Start > Power > Restart.
After Windows has restarted, reconnect the headphones.
Increase the volume and select Allow on the hearing-protection message before disconnecting the headphones again.

Restarting should make the warning appear again and allow the volume to be adjusted above 37.

Because the Galaxy Book4 Edge uses Qualcomm audio, older instructions referring to a Realtek Ear Protection checkbox may not apply. If it remains capped, install all available updates through Windows Update and the Samsung Update app, then restart. It is recommended checking for updates and restarting when troubleshooting audio problems.

If the warning still accepts Allow without unlocking the volume, I recommend contacting Samsung Support, as the restriction is likely controlled by Samsung’s audio driver or utility rather than a standard Windows setting.

Thanks for reply, the warning always appears, but when i click allow it dosnt adjust the volume, just get a tone and stays at 37, everything is up to date, all drivers etc, its really annoying.

I understand the inconveniences. I have conducted some researches and found out that it's more likely the issue with the Samsung device itself. I would suggest contacting Samsung Support for further insight on this matter

As a workaround, you can use some browser extension related to volume booster
