Azure Front Door Premium: Deployment Stuck at NotStarted Despite Private Link Approval

Problem description

I am experiencing an issue where my Azure Front Door Premium deployment remains in a 'NotStarted' state for deploymentStatus, despite all resources reporting provisioningState as 'Succeeded' and the Private Link connection being approved. I need assistance understanding why the deployment is stuck and how to resolve this.

Environment

Azure Front Door Premium in East US 2, with a private origin hosted in an Azure Container Apps managed environment that is private-only, VNet integrated, and zone redundant.

What I've already tried

I have not tried anything yet; the configuration was set up following Microsoft documentation, and all provisioning states are successful, but deploymentStatus remains 'NotStarted'.

Current status

I am seeking guidance on why the deployment is stuck at 'NotStarted' despite successful provisioning and private link approval, and I need steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

    The issue is no longer blocking us. Azure Front Door is now successfully routing traffic through Private Link to the internal Azure Container Apps environment.

    .../api/health

    now returns:

    HTTP/2 200

    {"status":"ok"}

    The Front Door control-plane fields still show deploymentStatus=NotStarted and sharedPrivateLinkResource.status=Pending, but the data plane is functioning correctly.

    I am closing the case because the service is operational and I do not want to spend additional time troubleshooting stale status metadata.
