Message Reactions Not Appearing

Hello, oftentimes when I send a message in GroupMe, I will get a notification that someone liked my message, but I will not actually be able to see the number of likes/reactions when I open the chat. It is not every time I send a message that I get this issue, but it is quite frequent.
