Issues with sharing my Family Account

I have just bought a new windows laptop for my daughter as it is required for her to use at school. I have set her up with a microsoft account and then tried to link it to my family sharing account. Somehow something went wrong in the process and I am stuck in a loop of not being able to send out another invite (30 day restriction) to her and not being able to log into her laptop because I cant get past the parent consent screen when trying to log into her laptop through her microsoft account. I went through chat and they basically said I have to wait for 30 days or set up a new account (this means i have to set up a new email account for her etc etc.) I refuse to believe that a company as big as microsoft with the amount of customers you have that someone cannot bypass this issue for me and reset the 30 days. She goes to school on Sunday so i need this resolved please ASAP.

The 30-day delay cannot be bypassed. That delay is a security safeguard, and support agents are not allowed to send password reset links or access and change account details.

For the laptop, the supported workaround in this situation is to set it up first with an adult organizer account, then add the child account after setup:

    1. Sign in to the new laptop with the adult organizer Microsoft account first.
    2. Make sure the child account is in the Microsoft Family group.
    3. After Windows setup completes, go to Settings > Accounts > Family.
    4. Find the child account and allow sign-in.
    5. Restart the laptop.
    6. The child account should then appear as a sign-in option.

If the child account is being treated incorrectly, also check the birth date on the account. If an adult is marked as a child, Microsoft directs using the steps in How to change a birth date on a Microsoft account.

If sign-in still fails, use the Microsoft account Sign-in helper. If more help is needed, use Contact Microsoft Support. Account protection limits still apply, so support cannot override the pending security hold or directly change protected account details.
