Unable to Access Microsoft for Startups Portal Despite Program Acceptance

Hi Microsoft Support,

I'm reaching out regarding an access issue with the Microsoft for Startups portal.

Issue: My startup was accepted into the Microsoft for Startups program, and we have $100,000 in Azure credits allocated. However, when I log in with this email, the portal redirects me to a new application flow instead of my existing account/dashboard.

Expected behavior: I should be able to log in and see my active program benefits and Azure credits, not be prompted to reapply.

Steps I've taken:

  • Confirmed I'm using the correct email
  • Logged out and back in
  • Could you please investigate why my account isn't linking to my existing approved program status, and restore access to the portal? Happy to provide any additional verification (acceptance email, application ID, etc.) needed.

Thank you, Chris Kind Security

    Hi Christopher,

Since your startup is already approved, I would not submit another application. Microsoft changed the Startups experience on May 29, 2026, and approved startups now manage their credits and benefits through the Azure portal, depending on when they joined the program.

If you are signing in with the same account from the acceptance email but are still being sent to a new application, this may be an account-to-program association issue. Microsoft lists portal access, approval status, and benefit activation as issues handled by Microsoft for Startups Program Support.

I would submit a program support request and include your acceptance email, application ID, and the account used for the original application so they can check the existing enrollment.

Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
