Which type of account are you using to open it: an account from the same organization or an external account?
Does the issue affect only you, or are other people also unable to open the link?
Can the person who shared the link still locate and open the original item directly in SharePoint?
What do you mean by “recover”: restoring a deleted item, restoring access, or making the existing link work again?
When did the link last work, and was the item moved, renamed, deleted, or shared again afterward?

If possible, please provide a screenshot of the error. Before sharing it, mask any personal or sensitive information, including names, email addresses, tenant or site names, file names, and the full SharePoint URL.

The error message does not confirm that the original link is incorrectly formatted. It indicates that the link is not currently granting your account access, but the exact cause could be related to the sharing permissions, the link itself, or a change to the original video.

Please ask your colleague to:

Confirm that they can still locate and open the original video.

Open Share or Manage access and check whether your account is listed.

If necessary, share the video again with the exact account you use to sign in and generate a new link directly through SharePoint.

Send you the newly generated link without modifying any part of its URL.

You should then open the link while signed in with the account to which it was shared. If multiple Microsoft accounts are signed in, try an InPrivate or Incognito window.
