URGENT: Blocked Tenant Due to Billing Loop — DPT and Billing Teams Dropping Hand-offs (Ticket #2608<***removed PII***>)

Our primary production tenant has been suspended due to an outstanding invoice. Because the tenant is in a deactivated/deauthenticated state, the Data Protection Team (DPT) cannot verify our identity and tells us to speak to Billing. However, the automated billing systems reject our logins, and phone transfers are dropped. We have an active payment method and are ready to clear the invoice immediately. I have opened an alternate trial tenant ticket #2608<removed PII>. I need an internal Microsoft Escalation Engineer to bridge this gap and manually assign a Commercial Billing Agent to process our payment.

The cross-tenant ticket worked to get the subscription re-activated, but the Azure/Entra tenant is still deactivated. I've not heard from anyone on that side, so I still cannot sign-on, unfortunately.

    Hi Lance,

I understand the urgency. Microsoft Q&A moderators cannot assign an internal engineer or process payments. Since identity verification is blocked by the billing suspension, keep the alternate-tenant case open and request escalation to a duty manager and the Commercial Billing/Collections team. Ask that one agent retain ownership and cross-reference the original case instead of transferring you again.

If this is a CSP or Enterprise Agreement subscription, contact your reseller or Microsoft account manager, as they may control invoice settlement. After payment, Azure reactivation can take up to 24 hours. Please remove the ticket numbers from this public post and share them only with Support.

Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
