I prefer to continue using the prior version of MSN homepage

I was switched to the new MSN homepage without knowing it and I want to continue using the previous version. It changes itself and I can't figure out how to stop it. If I shut down my laptop and reboot it it will automatically switch to the new version. Please help me. What am I doing wrong? I am just a novice so please try not to use terms that I don't understand. I should tell you that I am using Firefox for my browser.     Welcome Donna Hudson,

    I understand how frustrating it can be when the MSN homepage keeps changing back after you've already selected the version you prefer. 

    Before we continue, could you please confirm: 

    • Are you opening www.msn.com directly in Firefox when this happens? 
    • Are you signed in to a Microsoft account on MSN, or are you using MSN without signing in? 

    In the meantime, please try these steps in Firefox: 

    • Open MSN and switch to the version you prefer. 
    • In Firefox, go to Settings > Privacy & Security. 
    • Under Cookies and Site Data, make sure Firefox is not set to clear cookies whenever it closes. 
    • Close Firefox completely, reopen it, and check whether MSN keeps the selected version. 

    According to Microsoft, MSN stores certain personalization settings in cookies when you are not signed in. If those cookies are removed when the browser closes, MSN may not remember your preferences and can return to the default experience.  Official Microsoft article: Welcome to the MSN home page
