How to fix external monitor not being detected

please help. My external monitor is connected however the laptop will not detect it? I am using a port that has my monitor and mouse connected, the mouse works fine but the monitor is not detected.

    To be able to assist you better, please clarify the following:

    • What is the exact model of the hub or adapter you are using?
    • Is the hub connected to a USB-C port or a standard USB-A port on the laptop?
    • If you connect the monitor directly to the laptop's HDMI or DisplayPort (without the hub), does it work?

    Also, what is the manufacturer and model of your laptop?

    If you prefer, you can share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.
