Azure for Students - Unable to confirm University ID for Yıldız Technical University

I am an active full-time student at Yıldız Technical University in Türkiye.

My official university email uses the domain @std.yildiz.edu.tr.

My GitHub Student Developer Pack is already verified and active until August 10, 2028.

When I try to activate Azure for Students using my official university account, I receive:

“Unable to confirm your University ID.”

I have already tried:

official university account
separate personal Microsoft account
private/incognito browser
direct Azure for Students verification page
GitHub Student route

The Azure for Education contact path redirects me to Engage Center, where I do not have access to any workspace.

Could Microsoft please confirm whether the @std.yildiz.edu.tr student domain is recognized for Azure for Students, and advise whether the university/domain requires manual verification or correction?

I can provide current enrollment proof if needed.

The error “Unable to confirm your University ID” occurs because Microsoft's automated academic verification engine does not currently have your specific student sub-domain (@std.yildiz.edu.tr) mapped to its approved institutional database, even if the primary university domain (yildiz.edu.tr) is recognized.

The quickest resolution usually happens at the institutional level. Ask your university IT administrator to verify whether the @std.yildiz.edu.tr sub-domain is properly registered and verified within your university's Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) / Microsoft 365 Education tenant. If the sub-domain is not linked, your IT department can submit an academic domain verification request through their Microsoft Education admin portal.
