I signed up for a free trial for Miscrosoft Business. This product does not work for me because my business is not large enough to require all that the software offers. I want to cancel my free trial. How do I make that happen?

Here is steps to cancel the trial

    2. Navigate to Billing > Your products (or Subscriptions).
    3. Select the trial subscription.
    4. Choose one of the following options:
      • Turn off recurring billing to prevent the trial from automatically converting to a paid subscription.

For a Microsoft 365 Business free trial, cancel it by turning off recurring billing in the Microsoft 365 admin center. That stops future charges, and the trial then expires at the end of the trial period.

    Steps:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with the admin account for the trial.
    2. Go to Billing.
    3. Open the subscription or product details for the trial.
    4. Turn off recurring billing.

    Important details:

    • If recurring billing is not turned off, the subscription is automatically charged after the one-month free trial ends.
    • If the trial does not have a payment method associated with it, it can simply be allowed to expire and no charge is made.
    • If the subscription was bought through a partner, contact the seller or partner to help cancel it.
    • After cancellation or expiration, Microsoft 365 can still be used until the end of the free trial period.

If this is a consumer Microsoft 365 trial instead of a business trial, sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services, find the subscription, and:

    • select Cancel if that link appears, or
    • if Turn on recurring billing appears, recurring billing is already off and no further action is needed, or
    • if Paid with shows None, the trial ends on the Expires on date and no charge is made.
