On Windows 11, Phone Link may no longer appear under Settings > Apps > Installed apps. It can be managed from Settings > System > System components instead.
Try this:
- Open Settings > System.
- Scroll down to System components.
- Find Phone Link.
- Select the three dots next to it, then open Advanced options.
- Use Terminate, then Repair.
- If it still does not open correctly, use Reset.
If the app was previously connected and now the devices are not reconnecting, relink them:
On the Android device:
- Open Link to Windows.
- Under Linked Account, select the Microsoft account name.
- Go to Account Settings > Sign out and unlink account.
- Confirm Unlink.
On the PC:
- Open Phone Link.
- Go to Settings > Devices.
- Select Add new device.
- Follow the on-screen steps to pair the Android device again.
Also verify both devices are signed in to the same Microsoft account. On Android, this is shown in Settings > Accounts for the downloaded Link to Windows app, or on some devices in Settings > Advanced features > Link to Windows under Microsoft account.
