I cannot install PHONELINK. I had phone link as of yesterday linked to my mobile, the last evening it just wasn't there. I open the phone link ICON and it tells me to go to settings etc... and phone link is not in my installed apps.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Uninstall the Phone Link app properly using the command below-

    Open PowerShell as Administrator.

Run the command below to uninstall Phone Link -

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

    Once done,

Download and install the Phone Link app from the Microsoft Store.

On Windows 11, Phone Link may no longer appear under Settings > Apps > Installed apps. It can be managed from Settings > System > System components instead.

    Try this:

    1. Open Settings > System.
    2. Scroll down to System components.
    3. Find Phone Link.
    4. Select the three dots next to it, then open Advanced options.
    5. Use Terminate, then Repair.
    6. If it still does not open correctly, use Reset.

If the app was previously connected and now the devices are not reconnecting, relink them:

    On the Android device:

    1. Open Link to Windows.
    2. Under Linked Account, select the Microsoft account name.
    3. Go to Account Settings > Sign out and unlink account.
    4. Confirm Unlink.

    On the PC:

    1. Open Phone Link.
    2. Go to Settings > Devices.
    3. Select Add new device.
    4. Follow the on-screen steps to pair the Android device again.

Also verify both devices are signed in to the same Microsoft account. On Android, this is shown in Settings > Accounts for the downloaded Link to Windows app, or on some devices in Settings > Advanced features > Link to Windows under Microsoft account.
