Will Microsoft commit to giving it's users an option to disable AI

According to polling, there are a massive percentage of people who do not want to be part of the AI indoctrination. Myself included, we simply do not trust it. 90% of social media content including sales ads are the work of AI, made in such a way to deceive people into believing in misinformation.

Will Microsoft listen to it's users and give people the option to completely remove AI features (not just some feature but ALL of the). And it's pointless to say, people don't have to use your products because we live in a world where you can't even book a doctor's appointment without going online now. If you want to check your bank, you need to go online because 80% of local town bank branches have closed. AI is without a doubt the worst thing to happen to humanity, customer service? AI, does it give you the information or ability to speak to a person, most of the time, NO. People are being scammed more now than ever because AI is being used to make things look so genuine that it's difficult to question the legitimacy of most sites. I personally have been scammed twice in the space of 2 months by companies using AI to make websites that look so genuine that you wouldn't even think to question it. Scam 1 was for an AC unit £369.99 was the first amount stolen, scam 2 Northern knivesUK £139.99 selling chefs knives supposedly hand forged in the UK. Turns out the ads is completely AI and the knives are mass produced in a factory in Shenzhen, china. So I ask again, please can we have the ability to opt out of being forced into having AI on our computers that each of us have spent hundreds, or in my case thousands of pounds on?

As of today, Microsoft does provide ways to disable or reduce some AI features in certain products, such as turning off Copilot in supported Microsoft 365 apps, hiding or disabling Copilot in Windows, and disabling various AI-related features through settings or administrative policies. However, there is currently no publicly announced commitment from Microsoft to provide a single option that completely removes all AI functionality across all Microsoft products and services.

If you would like Microsoft to consider broader opt-out options, the best route is to submit feedback through the Feedback Hub in Windows or the relevant Microsoft product feedback channels. Customer feedback is regularly reviewed by Microsoft product teams.
