Hi Lee Kinnon
I understand your concerns. Your concerns go beyond Microsoft products and relate to the wider use of AI across the internet, online services, advertising, and customer support. However, this is a Microsoft user-to-user public forum and no one here can make commitments on Microsoft's future product decisions.
As of today, Microsoft does provide ways to disable or reduce some AI features in certain products, such as turning off Copilot in supported Microsoft 365 apps, hiding or disabling Copilot in Windows, and disabling various AI-related features through settings or administrative policies. However, there is currently no publicly announced commitment from Microsoft to provide a single option that completely removes all AI functionality across all Microsoft products and services.
If you would like Microsoft to consider broader opt-out options, the best route is to submit feedback through the Feedback Hub in Windows or the relevant Microsoft product feedback channels. Customer feedback is regularly reviewed by Microsoft product teams.
