Onenote Sticky Notes not showing up on my Ipad 10.9 gen 10

Onenote Sticky Notes is on my Iphone SE IOS Version 26.6.1 but NOT on my Ipad 10.9 gen 10 Also IOS Version 26.6.1. WHY? I am a longtime user and PAYER for Microsoft Apps.

Sticky Notes is still supported on iPad, so this is not a limitation of your 10th-generation iPad. Microsoft’s current instructions say it should be available in OneNote for iPad.

Please first tap your profile picture in the upper-left corner of OneNote. In the newer iOS interface, some users have found Sticky Notes there instead of as a separate button. Also make sure the iPad is signed into the same Microsoft account as your iPhone and update OneNote from the App Store.

If it still does not appear, you can confirm that your notes are syncing by opening Sticky Notes on the web: https://www.onenote.com/stickynotes

If the notes appear on the web but not on the iPad, please let me know what options you see after tapping your OneNote profile picture, and we can narrow it down further.

Sticky Notes on iPad appear inside OneNote for iPad, not as a separate app feature. To see them across devices, both the iPhone and iPad must be signed in to the same Microsoft account.

Check this on the iPad:

Open OneNote for iPad.
On the Home tab, tap the Sticky Notes icon.
Confirm OneNote on the iPad is signed in with the same Microsoft account used on the iPhone.

If the notes still do not appear:

On the Windows Sticky Notes app, force a sync:
- Open Sticky Notes.
- Open the Notes list.
- Select Settings.
- Select Sync now.
Make sure OneNote is installed on the iPad, because Sticky Notes on iPhone, iPad, and Android are associated with OneNote.

If Sticky Notes sync is failing because of account configuration, OneNote can show this error:

“Sticky Notes currently requires an Exchange Online mailbox for sync and storage to work.”

In that case, newly created or edited Sticky Notes stay only locally in the app and are not backed up. For that condition, the documented resolution is to contact the IT administrator to get access to an Exchange Online mailbox.
