Yes. Phone Link works on Windows 10, but the required Windows 10 version depends on the feature being used.

For basic Phone Link use, Windows 10 is supported.

    • One support article says Phone Link requires Windows 10 with the October 2022 update or later, or Windows 11.
    • For Phone screen, the PC must be running Windows 10 version 1809 or later.
    • For calls, the PC must be running Windows 10 version 1903 or later.

If Phone Link says a newer version of Windows 10 is needed even though Windows Update shows the PC is current, check these items:

    1. Verify the exact Windows version
      • Go to Settings > System > About.
      • Under Windows specifications, confirm the version number.
      • For Phone screen, it must be 1809 or higher.
    2. Check for Windows updates again
      • On Windows 10, go to Settings > Updates & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
    3. Update the Phone Link app itself
      • Open Phone Link on the PC.
      • Go to Settings > General.
      • Select the down arrow after Phone Link version.
      • Select Check for updates.
      • If no update is available, the app will show You're up to date.
    4. If an Update Required page appears
      • That means the Phone Link app on the PC, the Link to Windows app on the Android device, or both are outdated.
      • Update the indicated app to the latest version available.
    5. If pairing still fails after updating
      • Make sure the PC and Android device are nearby, turned on, and connected to the same Wi‑Fi network.
      • If the devices are on the same Wi‑Fi but still will not connect, check whether the router has Wireless Isolation / AP Isolation enabled. If it is enabled, devices on the same Wi‑Fi can be blocked from communicating.

If the goal is only to confirm compatibility: Phone Link does work on Windows 10. The most likely causes of the message are an app update mismatch or the PC not being on the specific Windows 10 build required for the feature being used.
