lucen timeline swimlane formatting issues

Based on Microsoft documentation, PowerPoint uses a fixed slide size and does not include a feature that automatically resizes all content when it extends beyond the slide. The Ensure Fit option is only available when the slide size or orientation is changed. 

Since Lucen Timeline is a third-party PowerPoint add-in, PowerPoint doesn't provide a setting to control how the timeline is resized or rearranged when you open Edit mode. 

Here are a few options you can try: 

Option 1: Use Ensure Fit after changing the slide size  

This is the closest built in PowerPoint option to a Fit to Page feature. 

Save a copy of the presentation. 

Go to Design > Slide Size > Custom Slide Size. 

Review or adjust the slide dimensions and select OK. 

When prompted, choose Ensure Fit. 

This scales the existing content to fit within the selected slide size. The adjustment applies when the slide size is changed and is not maintained automatically afterward. 

Option 2: Group and lock the finished timeline  

After completing all timeline edits: 

Open Home > Arrange > Selection Pane. 

Select the timeline objects and group them (Ctrl + G) if available. 

Use the lock option in the Selection Pane to prevent unintended changes. 

This helps keep PowerPoint objects in place. However, PowerPoint doesn't provide a setting that controls how a third party add-in rebuilds or refreshes its content in Edit mode. 

Option 3: Contact the Lucen support team 

If the timeline only changes size in Edit mode, the Lucen add-in controls its behavior.
