Restarted the affected Trusted Launch VM.

Verified that the VM restarted successfully from the Azure Activity Log.

Confirmed the operating system was updated and is running normally.

Verified the VM is currently in a running state.

However, the VM continues to appear under the Security Advisory's Impacted Resources list, and the advisory has not been cleared.

Could you please verify whether the remediation has been recognised by the Azure backend and advise if any additional action is required

    Hello Mohamed Farooq,

Thank you for providing the update.

Based on the information provided, the required remediation appears to have been completed successfully. The affected Trusted Launch VM was restarted, the operating system is functioning normally, and the VM is currently in a healthy running state.

Please note that the Impacted Resources list within the Security Advisory may not be updated immediately after remediation is performed. There can be a delay while the remediation status is validated and reflected by the Azure backend systems.

At this time, no additional VM-side action is typically required. We recommend monitoring the advisory status and allowing time for the backend refresh process to complete. If the advisory continues to show the VM as impacted after a reasonable period, please let us know and we can engage the appropriate backend team to review whether the remediation has been correctly recognized.

We hope this helps. Please feel free to update us if the advisory remains active, and we will be glad to assist further.

Note that base on the adversory you’ve already completed the required remediation. No further VM‑side action is typically needed. The advisory should clear once Azure’s backend refreshes, but if it doesn’t within a reasonable window, raise a support ticket to have it manually reconciled.

    I hope this helps

    Open Azure Portal.

    Go to Virtual machines.

Select the affected Trusted Launch VM.

Check the Overview page for the update/restart notification.

If possible, save your work and stop any running applications.

    Click Restart.

Wait until the VM shows Running again.
