Could you please tell me if I’ve entered any incorrect information in this step? When I click ‘Next’, I get a message saying that your address cannot be verified.

I think Azure Step 2 only validates that the address and region you enter match your Azure billing profile. Phone numbers, credit cards, and browser settings are not part of this step. Please check that the address you enter here matches the country/region and the billing address stored in your Azure billing profile.

Thank you for your response, but this address matches both the email address associated with the Microsoft account and the billing address—so i was unsure where the issue lies.

Thanks for update, I think Step 2 only checks that addr and country match your Billing profile and Microsoft account, and since yours already line up, the next safe step is just re‑save Country/region and try one clean sign‑in with a fresh browser profile at portal.azure.com.

The screenshot does not provide enough detail to identify a specific incorrect field, but the supported checks for this Azure sign-up error are:

Verify that the Azure profile information is correct, including:
- contact email address
- street address
- telephone number
Make sure the credit card information is correct.
Make sure there is not already a Microsoft account using the same information.
If the sign-up page says the address cannot be verified, confirm that the billing address entered during sign-up matches the address on file with the bank exactly.
Make sure the billing address is in the same country/region selected in the About you section.
If the issue continues, try a different browser.
If the page hangs or does not complete verification, allow third-party cookies in the browser, refresh the sign-up page, and if needed restart the browser and try again.

If the sign-up flow also shows “We cannot proceed with sign-up due to an issue with your account. Please contact billing support”, check the Microsoft account center:

Sign in to the Microsoft account center.
Select Your info.
Verify that billing and shipping details are completed and valid.
