There is no Black Forest Labs "Flux 3" model at this time, so it is not something that can be added to Microsoft Foundry yet. The most recent Black Forest Labs release available is Flux.2, which became the stable release on 25 November 2025. Microsoft Foundry already carries several Black Forest Labs models directly from Azure, including FLUX 1.1 Pro and FLUX 2 Pro, with sample code showing endpoints for both, alongside the earlier FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] model. Foundry model onboarding generally follows the publisher's own release and partnership timeline with Microsoft rather than a fixed community-driven schedule, so a Flux 3 addition (if BFL releases one in the future) would depend on that same process.
Here is how you can check current availability and stay ahead of any future additions.
Check the model catalog directly. In Azure AI Foundry, go to the Model catalog and filter by publisher "Black Forest Labs" to see every Flux model currently offered, including access requirements and deployment options.
Confirm what is deployable today. FLUX 1.1 Pro and FLUX 2 Pro are available as Direct from Azure models with pay-as-you-go and provisioned throughput (fungible PTU) options. FLUX.1-schnell is available through the Hugging Face integration path but requires separate author approval on Hugging Face before it can be deployed.
Submit a product feature request. Since adding a specific model like a future Flux 3 is a Microsoft Foundry product roadmap decision rather than something a support ticket or community answer can resolve, submit this as a feature request through the Azure Feedback forum or your Microsoft account team if you have one. Product teams do track these requests when prioritizing new model onboarding.
Watch for announcements. New Foundry Models additions, including future Black Forest Labs releases, are typically announced through the Azure AI Foundry blog on Microsoft Tech Community and the Azure Updates page. Following these will give you the fastest notice if Flux 3 (or Sora-comparable video generation) is added.
On the Sora point, video generation support in Foundry is evolving separately from the Flux/image model track, so that would also be worth watching through the same update channels rather than assuming it ties to a Flux release.
