Controlling settings, permissions, and membership within Teams and channels
Hi Ford Ottilie
If you want to remove a redundant tab from a Teams channel, you can right-click the tab you want to remove and select Remove.
If you don't see the Remove option, this may be because the tab is a default tab such as Posts or Shared, your organization or team owner has restricted permissions to remove tabs, or the tab belongs to a personal app.
You can refer to the following Microsoft article for detailed steps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/teams/teams-channels/use-a-tab-in-a-channel-or-chat-in-microsoft-teams
If you don't see the Remove option, could you please provide the following information?
-What type of tab are you trying to remove (for example, a List, SharePoint page, or app)?
-Are you a team owner or a team member?
-If possible, please share a screenshot of the options you see when you right-click the tab, with any personal or sensitive information redacted.
I hope this helps!
