My PC won't boot after I enable IOMMU in the BIOS. Here are some pictures..

Hi,

I recommend updating the BIOS.

Keep in mind that while a BIOS update is recommended, it does carry risks. If the process is interrupted, your laptop might not boot up. Therefore, if you lack experience with hardware and software, I suggest skipping this step, even though it is highly recommended.

To update the BIOS, you first need to disable BitLocker. To do this, open the Command Prompt (as administrator), run the command manage-bde -off C:, wait for the decryption process to complete, and restart your computer.

After that, you can download the BIOS from the link below:

After updating the BIOS, reset the BIOS settings to default.

Then, install the following drivers:

Intel Consumer ME driver 2552.8.10.0 for Windows 10 64-bit & Windows 11 64-bit.

Intel Chipset Driver V10.1.19199.8340 for Windows 10 64-bit & Win11 64-bit (WHQL).

After installing these drivers, access the BIOS and enable only VT-d.

After enabling VT-d, go to Windows Security > Device security > Memory integrity > Core isolation.

If any driver is listed as incompatible, take a screenshot and post it here.

Ok, but I have a question. VT-x is not compatible with VT-d? I enable VT-x and my PC won't boot normally

Hi,

VT-d relates to hardware virtualization, while VT-x handles direct virtualization support; however, depending on your intended use—such as running game anti-cheat systems like Vanguard—you generally only need VT-d and Core Isolation enabled.
