I have two Outlook accounts, one works perfectly ok, however second account now fails to send emails there are no obvious signs of failure to send. Previously worked okay, no obvious reason of changed configuration. Same problems occur on all clients (iPhone, iPad ,web or Windows laptop. Ex- IT professional.

Hi The Giddings History Research Group,

Based on your description, the issue appears to be account-related rather than a problem with a specific device or Outlook client because the same behavior occurs in Outlook on the web, iPhone, iPad, and Windows.

To help narrow down the cause, could you please provide the following information:

  • Do the messages appear in the Sent Items folder after sending?
  • Do all recipients fail to receive the emails, or only certain recipients?
  • Do you receive any Non-Delivery Report (NDR) or bounce-back message?
  • Have you tested sending a simple email (no attachment, no signature) to:
    • Your other working Outlook account
    • A Gmail account
    • Another external email address

Since the affected account can still receive emails and the issue is consistent across multiple clients, the problem may be related to an Outlook.com account restriction, a delivery issue on the service side, or recipient-side filtering rather than a local configuration problem.

The additional details above will help us determine whether the messages are leaving the mailbox successfully and where the delivery process is failing.
