Microsoft for Startups onboarding blocked: LinkedIn BadRequest (Conflict) and AADSTS16000 prevents support

Hello,

I am trying to complete a new Microsoft for Startups onboarding without a referral code for a registered company, using a newly created personal Microsoft account with no previous Azure subscription.

The following happens:

Signing in succeeds and the Microsoft for Startups dashboard initially offers Azure credits.

Selecting “Verify with LinkedIn” returns: {"error":{"code":"BadRequest","message":"BadRequest (Conflict)"}}

After returning to the dashboard, it states that the account cannot be used for Microsoft for Startups credits.

Opening Help + Support then fails with AADSTS16000/AADSTS50020. The account does not exist in the “Microsoft Services” tenant and cannot access Microsoft_Azure_SupportPortalExtension.

I reproduced the issue in a completely new Safari profile with only the intended Microsoft account signed in. Cross-site tracking was already disabled.

Because the Azure Support extension produces the same tenant error, I cannot submit an official support request through the portal.

Could a Microsoft moderator please escalate this to the Microsoft for Startups onboarding/account-provisioning team and ask them to review or reset the LinkedIn verification mapping and onboarding state?

I can provide the Microsoft account, screenshots, Trace IDs, Request IDs and Correlation IDs privately.

Thank you.
