Microsoft forced user to have office 365, very confusing. I have valid MS Office Professional Plus 2021. But interface forced for 365. Not good customer friendly approach shown by Microsoft.

The Office apps are almost identical, no matter if you use a subscription license or a perpetual one. A few options may be missing in the perpetual licenses, such as full support for the Editor feature. Another notable difference is that perpetual licenses do not receive feature updates; they do get security updates and bug fixes.

Could you tell us what specifically isn't working as expected in your perpetual license?
