I just moved other mainland china and my excel won't let me type. Word and powerpoint do but my excel won't. I've tried with a VPN but without a VPN still when I get signed into to Microsoft it won't let me type. My only guess is that I have the claude plugin already installed on my excel. Is this actually the issue and if so how do I delete it so I can get my excel working again?

Yes, the Claude add-in is worth testing first. Since Word and PowerPoint still let you type/edit, this does not look like Microsoft 365 being blocked simply because you moved to mainland China. An Excel-specific add-in problem is more plausible.

To remove the add-in, Microsoft's instruction is here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/add-or-remove-add-ins-in-excel

    1. Open Excel.
    2. Go to Home > Add-ins > More Add-ins. You may also see it under Tools > Add-ins on Mac.
    3. Choose My Add-ins.
    4. Find Claude by Anthropic for Excel.
    5. Click the ... next to it and choose Remove.
    6. Completely quit Excel with Command + Q.
    7. Reopen Excel and create a new blank workbook to test typing.

See if that makes any difference.
