A catalog of AI models in Microsoft Foundry that you can discover, compare, and deploy using Azure’s built‑in tools for evaluation, fine‑tuning, and inference
MedImageParse is documented for Foundry (classic) portal only. It is explicitly marked as not available for the new Foundry portal. If the model is being searched for in the new portal, it will not appear there.
What to check:
- Open Microsoft Foundry and make sure the New Foundry toggle is off.
- Open the project in Foundry (classic).
- Go to Model catalog.
- In Deployment options, select Managed compute.
- Then search for the healthcare AI model.
Another possible reason is governance policy. Foundry supports Azure Policy controls that can block model deployment. When a policy blocks a model, the catalog does not hide models, but the Deploy action is disabled with a reason.
Also note that MedImageParse is described as a managed compute deployment scenario in Foundry (classic), where the model is deployed to a self-hosted managed inference solution.
