Option for Severe Weather and EmergenciesDescription:Currently, Windows forces an "Update and Shut Down" process when updates are pending. This creates a severe risk of hardware damage and operating system corruption (bricking) for users facing immediate localized emergencies, such as severe thunderstorms, hurricanes, or rolling blackouts, where the power grid is highly unstable.Many users responsibly shut down and unplug their PCs to save electricity or protect their hardware from lightning strikes and power surges. When forced to update during a shutdown in a storm, users are trapped waiting for a slow update while their power could fail at any second.Proposed Solution:Please add an option in the Power Menu alongside "Update and Shut Down" that reads: "Shut Down Now, Update on Next Startup." This allows the computer to safely power off immediately to protect the physical hardware, while safely deferring the installation process until the machine is powered back on under stable conditions.

Hello, Yes this indeed would be very helpful. Just to let you know there is a way to force shutdown your computer from the command line. There is actually a product out there its called "APC UPS" is a battery backup power supply. People with expensive computers buy these because they have a huge warranty on the power supply covers and protects your devices as well. There warranty is pretty strong. It stops all electrical shocks and grounds every thing including the internet connection if need be. You can stay on the pc for a long time depending on the model you choose.
