To link Microsoft Learn achievements to a company system, the supported path depends on which company system is being used:
- If the company uses Partner Center: link the Microsoft Learn profile to Partner Center.
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn and make sure the profile has the completed credential.
- Sign in to the Partner Center page for Learn profile linking.
- Open the Microsoft Learn tab.
- Select Link Microsoft Learn Profile and complete the linking flow using the same account credentials used for the Microsoft Learn profile.
- Certifications and assessments appear in Partner Center within 10 days after linking.
- If the company uses Viva Learning: Viva Learning can surface learning content and learner records through integrations. Administrators can use out-of-the-box integrations or the employee learning API in Microsoft Graph to bring content metadata and learner course activity records from a learning provider or LMS into Viva Learning.
- If the goal is to add content into Viva Learning manually: content links can be added from SharePoint, YouTube, Vimeo, news articles, and other sources. This allows content to be bookmarked, recommended, and shared, but linked content isn’t searchable in Viva Learning. Users must also have access to the SharePoint document to view it.
If the company’s “learning system” is an internal LMS, the company administrator typically needs to set up the LMS or provider integration with Viva Learning or Microsoft Graph. Individual users can self-link only in the Partner Center scenario.
