Your Copilot app is fantastic, do not get me wrong. There are things about it that I genuinely like. One of the biggest advantages is that usage does not run out nearly as fast as many other AI services that hide everything behind expensive paywalls.

That said, the restrictions are becoming incredibly frustrating.

I am trying to create a book cover. I am not asking Copilot to invent some outrageous scene from scratch. I am often trying to make a small edit to an image I already created. Something as simple as adding an adult character to a doorway ends up getting rejected because of content that already exists in the image. That makes no sense from a creator's perspective.

I have spent countless hours piecing together artwork from multiple AI tools because I cannot afford expensive design software or premium subscriptions everywhere. I am doing the best I can with limited resources. When one tool refuses part of the job, another tool puts it behind a paywall, and a third tool limits how many images I can create. Eventually it becomes exhausting.

The same thing happens with writing. I have had Copilot refuse to help write scenes for fictional books and fictional movie scripts. If I am clearly writing fiction, it feels absurd to be blocked from creating fictional content.

What frustrates me most is that these restrictions often get in the way of legitimate creative work. Authors, artists, and independent creators are some of the people who need these tools the most because we do not have large budgets.

I understand the need for rules and safety measures. Every platform needs them. But there has to be a balance. Right now it often feels like the system is more concerned with hypothetical problems than helping real users complete harmless creative projects.

The result is that people who are trying to create books, covers, stories, and artwork end up feeling punished while bad actors will always find another way around restrictions anyway.

I genuinely want to keep using Copilot because there is a lot to like about it. But the creative restrictions need serious reconsideration. They are turning what should be an enjoyable creative process into a constant battle with the software.
