Windows 11 26H2 has trashed my updates

The Windows 11 26H2 installed on my Lenovo laptop by the Windows Updater via the Windows Insider Programme has screwed any of the current updates to Windows 11 25H2 being pushed at me with all attempts to updte FAILING!

I have tried multiple times with no success. MS Tech support says it is because they versions are different.

So why does it persist in trying to update 25H2?

How can I get out of the Windows Insider Programme on the laptop? I was successful doing it on the desktop PC but can't get out of it on this laptop. I want to get rid of the nag mesage in the bottom right corner, restore Windows 11 to 25H2 and have no more to do with 26H2! It has screwed my system!

    Hi,

    Exactly which Insider build are you on?

    Use WIN+R, type winver for the build #.

    Also check the Windows Insider Program

    and tell us which Insider Channel you're on.
