Microsoft project management software used to plan, manage, and communicate a project schedule and other information among workgroup members, project managers, and other stakeholders.
If you are looking for a standalone Microsoft Planner app for Windows, there is currently no separate official Planner desktop application available for download from the Microsoft Store.
However, you can install the new Planner as a web app, which gives you a separate application window and allows you to pin it to the Start menu or taskbar.
To do this in Microsoft Edge:
- Go to https://planner.cloud.microsoft/ and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
- Select the ... menu in the upper-right corner > Scroll down to More tools
- Select Apps > Install this site as an app.
- Enter a name such as Microsoft Planner, then select Install.
After installation, Planner will appear as a separate Windows app.
You can also access the new Planner through Microsoft Teams. The current Planner experience combines tasks and plans from the previous Planner and Project experiences.
I hope this helps.
