Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
For this scenario, the supported path is to contact Microsoft for Startups Program Support through the portal experience that matches the enrollment date.
- If joined after May 29, 2026: use the Azure portal.
- Go to the Azure portal.
- Navigate to the startup homepage.
- In the Overview tab, find Your Microsoft Team.
- Select Get program support.
- If joined prior to May 29, 2026: use the Microsoft for Startups Portal.
- Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal.
- Select the ? icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Submit a Support Ticket.
- Attach relevant documents or screenshots of errors.
Program Support is the correct team for:
- business or domain verification issues
- Azure credit activation issues
- credit expiration or usage questions
- benefit redemption issues
- portal access problems
- entitlement corrections and owner-account corrections
For benefit redemption failures, documented common causes include:
- the account previously redeemed the same benefit
- the account is an existing enterprise account
- eligibility or verification requirements are incomplete
If the expected Your Microsoft Team or Get program support option is missing, use the Microsoft for Startups Portal support submission path if the enrollment is in the pre-May 29, 2026 portal experience. Include the verification failure screenshot and supporting business/domain documents when submitting the ticket.
Program Support provides 24/7 global coverage.
