For Outlook.com, if storage is only 50% used, check these common causes for missing incoming mail:

    1. Check the Other tab and make sure messages are not being separated there.
    2. Check Junk Email settings and the Junk Email folder. If a message was marked as junk incorrectly, move it back by right-clicking it and selecting Mark as not junk.
    3. Restore normal sorting in the message list: Filter > Sort > Date.
    4. Check whether email forwarding is enabled.
    5. Check whether any email rules are moving or hiding messages.
    6. If a third-party mail service is connected, confirm it supports modern authentication and IMAP.
    7. If IMAP or POP is enabled for the connected app, disable IMAP and POP and test again.
    8. If mail still does not arrive and there is no visible error, ask the sender to review Sender Support in Outlook.com.

If the issue is only on one device, removing the partnership between that mobile device and the mailbox can fix sync issues.
