Microsoft for Startups — Previous Azure Credits Expired, Can We Requalify?

Hello Microsoft for Startups team,

I’m the director of Expertluma Ltd, a UK-registered software company building an AI-native Enterprise AI Production platform.

We previously participated in Microsoft for Startups and used our Azure startup credits. Since then, the company and product have progressed substantially, and we are now operating a significantly more developed AI production platform covering AI training, dataset production, human intelligence, evaluation, governance, certification and continuous assurance.

Our previous Azure startup credit allocation has now expired.

We would like to understand whether Expertluma can qualify for the current Microsoft for Startups program and its current Azure credit progression, given that:

• Expertluma is a privately held, for-profit UK software company.
• We own and develop our own software product.
• The platform is actively being developed for commercial enterprise customers.
• Azure remains an important part of our technical architecture.
• Our previous Microsoft for Startups Azure credits have already been consumed/expired.

Could someone from the Microsoft for Startups team please clarify:

1. Whether a startup that previously received and exhausted Microsoft for Startups Azure credits can requalify under the current program.
2. Whether our previous credits count toward the current lifetime Azure-credit eligibility limit.
3. Whether there is a reapplication, requalification or level-up route available to us.
4. Whether we should apply through the current Microsoft for Startups application or request a review of our existing startup profile.
5. If our existing profile cannot be requalified automatically, how we can request a manual eligibility review.

We can provide our UK Companies House registration information and other documentation privately through the appropriate Microsoft support channel.

We are particularly interested in continuing to build on Azure rather than migrating our existing production architecture solely because our previous startup credit allocation has expired.
