Can this software be used in place of Publisher for a church to provide documents to parishioners.

    Long story short, any page layout & most word processing programs can be used to create that type of document. The problem is that Publisher files [.pub] are not compatible with any of them so they cannot be used to edit or revise existing Publisher files or templates.

    Since Microsoft has announced that Publisher will be retired after October 2026. Microsoft 365 subscribers will no longer have access to Publisher after that date.
