Thank you for getting in touch.
In Planner Premium, the standard custom calendar allows you to select the usual working days of the week. However, specific holiday exceptions, such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, or a company shutdown period, may need to be configured through the underlying Project application in Power Apps.
Please try the following:
- Go to https://make.powerapps.com and select the Power Platform environment containing your plan.
- Open the Project app and select Resources.
- Open the relevant resource calendar and add the holiday dates as Time Off or non-working time.
- Save the calendar as a work-hours template.
- Return to your Planner Premium plan and open the plan details.
- Under Calendar settings, select the new calendar template and click Apply.
Once the calendar has been applied, Planner should exclude those dates when scheduling tasks. Please also ensure that the tasks have durations and dependencies configured, as manually fixed start or finish dates may prevent the schedule from moving automatically.
If you cannot see the Project app, Resources, or Calendar settings, your Power Platform administrator may need to create the calendar or provide the required permissions.
