Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
Microsoft for Startups enrollment May 8, 2026 — Microsoft 365 benefit missing
I enrolled in Microsoft for Startups on May 6, 2026 using my company email address.
My Azure startup subscription was provisioned on May 7, and I can access the Azure startup experience and Azure credits. However, Microsoft 365 Business Premium has not been provisioned.
The LinkedIn account I used for startup verification is associated with my personal Hotmail Microsoft account, while the Microsoft for Startups enrollment and Azure communications were sent to my company email address. I am concerned the two identities may not have been correctly associated during enrollment.
The Microsoft 365 Admin Center gives me: “Login is not supported for consumer users without business presence.” My Entra tenant exists, but only Microsoft Entra ID Free is shown.
The Microsoft for Startups portal redirects me to the new Azure experience, where I do not see Benefits or “Your Microsoft Team / Get Program Support.”
Please verify my original May 6 enrollment, determine which Microsoft for Startups program/tier I was enrolled under, and confirm whether my applicable Microsoft 365 benefit was omitted during provisioning or migration. Please escalate this to the Microsoft for Startups team if necessary.
