When using my iPad and try to cut or paste the word app closes, I can copy and past in other apps… I have tried turning on off my I pad, deleted the app and reinstalled and still have the same problem

Is Word fully updated from the App Store?

Please test copying and pasting a few words in a new blank Word document as well. That will help determine whether the issue is with the Word app itself or the specific document.

Whenever I cut or copy my word document on my ipad 11pro m3, the document disappear! How would I solve it?

Since copy and paste work in other apps, and restarting and reinstalling Word did not help, this is unlikely to be caused by the iPad clipboard or one particular document.

As there does not appear to be a confirmed fix yet, please report the issue directly through Word by selecting your profile icon, then Help & Feedback > Tell us what can be better. This will help bring the issue to the attention of the relevant product team for further investigation, as reports posted only on the forum may not reach them.

In the meantime, you can try these temporary workarounds:

Open the document in Word for the web and perform the editing there.

Try these iPad-specific checks:

Make sure Word is fully up to date A moderator-recommended answer reports that Word freezing on iPad was fixed in version 2.102.3 bugfix release. Update Word from the App Store first.
Force close Word, then reopen it On iPad, press the Home button twice, find Word, then swipe the preview up to close it. Reopen Word and test cut/paste again.
If sign-in or activation looks wrong after reinstalling, reset the app login state On iPad:
- Open Settings
- Select Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
- Under RESET, tap Reset <app name>
- Turn on Delete Login Credentials
- Close the app fully, then open it again and sign in
Confirm the installed app is the official Microsoft Word app One accepted answer for a new iPad issue found the installed app was not the official Microsoft Word app. Reinstalling the official app from the App Store resolved that path.

Since restarting the iPad and reinstalling were already tried, the most relevant next steps are updating to the latest Word build, force closing the app, and resetting login credentials.
