MacBook Air Outdated Microsoft

It's possible that storage could be a factor if your MacBook Air is running low on available space. However, based on your message, if you've used around 150 GB out of 500 GB, you should still have plenty of storage available for Microsoft 365, which typically requires only a few GB for installation and updates.

The main factor is whether your MacBook Air supports the macOS version required for the current Microsoft 365 apps. Microsoft 365 for Mac is currently supported on the three most recent major versions of macOS. If your Mac is running an older version, Microsoft 365 apps may no longer receive updates, and compatibility issues can occur.

To check this, please click Apple menu > About This Mac and check your MacBook Air model/year and your macOS version. For reference: Find your Mac model name and serial number
