Hi Team,

We are experiencing an issue while accessing customer Azure subscriptions through our CSP account.

We have an active GDAP relationship with the affected customer(s) and the necessary permissions are in place. Until a few days ago, we were able to access the Subscription Overview page without any issues. However, we are now unable to view the Subscription Overview page and the Azure tracking/details within the Azure portal across multiple customer subscriptions.

Could you please confirm whether this is:

  • A temporary Azure portal issue,
  • A known issue affecting CSP/GDAP access, or
  • A recent change in portal behavior or permissions?

Kindly advise if any additional changes or role assignments are required from our side.

Thank you,

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Based on the symptoms, this appears more likely to be an access/delegation issue related to CSP GDAP/AOBO permissions rather than a general Azure portal UI problem.

    Please verify the following:

    1. GDAP relationship status
      • Confirm the GDAP relationship is still active and includes the Azure workload.
      • Verify the relationship has not expired or been modified.
      Security group membership
      • Ensure the affected partner users are still members of the security group associated with the GDAP relationship.
    2. Azure delegated administration (AOBO)
      • Confirm the subscription still contains the Admin Agents AOBO assignment used for CSP delegated administration.
      Access through Partner Center
      • Launch Azure from Partner Center → Customers → Customer → Microsoft Azure Management Portal and verify whether the issue persists.
      Cross-user validation
        - Test with another partner user who has the same GDAP permissions.

           - If multiple users experience the same issue across multiple customer tenants, this may indicate a broader CSP/GDAP service issue.

Because access was working previously and the issue now affects multiple customer subscriptions, I would avoid adding manual Owner/Contributor RBAC assignments until the GDAP/AOBO configuration has been validated.

If all GDAP settings, security group memberships, and AOBO assignments are unchanged, I recommend opening a Partner Center support ticket with Microsoft for further investigation.
