Since the response link still works, the form probably still exists, but it may be under a different Microsoft account, a Microsoft 365 group, or a different Form ID than expected.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Sign out of all Microsoft accounts, then sign in at Microsoft Forms using the exact account that created the form. If you have both personal and work accounts, check each one in a private browser window.

On the Forms homepage, check Recent, My forms, Shared with me, Group forms, and Deleted forms. If the form was created in Teams or moved to a Microsoft 365 group, it will normally be listed under that group rather than My forms.

If the applicant link contains id=, copy everything after id= and try: https://forms.office.com/Pages/DesignPageV2.aspx?subpage=design&id=FORM-ID

Replace FORM-ID with the copied value. This may open the editing page when you are signed in as the correct owner.

If you receive a permission message, the link belongs to another account or group. For a work account, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to identify the owner and restore or transfer access. Avoid distributing a new link until ownership is confirmed, since responses may be stored under the original Form ID.
