MSN and Yahoo ban

To stop MSN content from appearing when Microsoft Edge opens or on a new tab page:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. On the default homepage or new tab page, select the settings cog in the top-right corner.
3. Choose Focused mode to hide the news feed while keeping it available if scrolling down.
4. To turn it off entirely, choose Custom mode, then set Content Off.

If using an older version of Microsoft Edge:

1. Select Hide Feed at the top-right of the Edge default homepage.
2. Under Page Display Settings, select Top Sites or A Blank Page.

If Yahoo or MSN is opening automatically when signing in to Windows through Edge startup behavior:

1. Go to Start > Settings.
2. Select Accounts > Sign-in options.
3. Turn off Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign in.

If MSN content is being personalized based on the signed-in account, signing out of the Edge profile or using InPrivate mode stops preference-based personalization:

• In Edge, go to Settings > Profile and sign out.
• Or use InPrivate mode.
