I have $6 in my Microsoft Balance, how do I purchase Robux with it on PC?

Hello,

I am on Windows 10, and my account region is currently Canada. I do not own an Xbox console but I do have an Xbox account. I am planning to purchase Robux on my Win 10 PC. I do not have a billing info address. I think it's also worth noting that when I experimentally attempted the Credit/Debit option, the region was locked to United States, and that the Roblox for Windows displayed 6.99 for the 500 Robux bundle, but at payment it displayed 4.99 for 500 Robux instead(with applicable taxes).

Recently, I've redeemed the $6 Xbox Gift Card from Microsoft Rewards. I have checked my Microsoft Account Home > Payment Options, and it shows up as 6 CAD on my balance. I planned to purchase Robux with my Microsoft balance, so I downloaded the Roblox app from Microsoft Store. I checked the email associated with the Microsoft Store version of Roblox, and it is linked to the same Microsoft account that has the $6 CAD balance. When I tried to purchase Robux, the purchase screen does not have a payment option available for Microsoft Balance. It only provided me with Credit/Debit, eWallet, and Redeem a Gift Card. I'm wondering if this is a misunderstanding on my part, or if there are some technicalities involved I am not aware of that are being resolved. I'd like help as soon as possible since my balance expires in November.

Update: I also completely uninstalled and reinstalled Roblox - Windows through the Microsoft Store. The Microsoft Store works normally and I can install other apps, and my system meets Roblox's requirements. However, after reinstalling Roblox, the Robux checkout still only offers Credit/Debit, eWallet, and Redeem a Gift Card. Microsoft account balance still does not appear.

Hi forest

If Microsoft Balance does not appear at checkout, that purchase path may not currently support using your account balance, even though the CAD $6 is available in your Microsoft account.

Since you've already confirmed the balance exists and reinstalled Roblox without any change, I'd recommend contacting Microsoft Store Support to verify whether Robux purchases through the Windows Roblox app in Canada can be paid using Microsoft account balance.

To contact Support:

  1. Go to Microsoft Support.
  2. Click Get Help.
  3. Type Microsoft Store billing or Microsoft account balance.
  4. Sign in with the Microsoft account that holds the CAD $6 balance.
  5. If available, select Contact Support and choose Chat with a support agent.
