ipad 13 - I need to use Chart Filter on excel to amend data series but the mobile app doesn’t have chart filter icon

Hi

I use an excel workbook to produce graphs and the workbook has been developed by some else. I add data and the graphs are automatically generated. I usually use th chart filter to amend the data series to enhance the graph and also amend the axis. I have recently got a ipad 13 and the filter is not there - is there a simple workaround to allow me to amend teh data series to change the rows in the data series and also amend the bounds.

    Hi Clare,

    As per checking, this is a feature limitation on iPad. The Excel mobile app (iOS/iPadOS) does not include the Chart Filter icon that you’re used to on desktop. Microsoft has streamlined the mobile interface, therefore, the advanced chart tools like Chart Filters, Select Data, and axis bound adjustments are missing.

    The best option or workaround to proceed here is to use Excel Online version which you'll access it through a browser if you want to use Chart Filters without switching devices.
