As a long-time Microsoft customer, I'm frustrated by the lack of meaningful improvements to Publisher. While other Microsoft 365 applications continue to evolve, Publisher users have seen very little innovation. We need Publisher to receive the attention, support, and enhancements that reflect its ongoing use in many organizations.

I completely understand your frustration regarding Microsoft Publisher.

I have seen many comments from long-time Publisher users who have expressed similar concerns following Microsoft’s announcement about the product’s end of support. Moving away from a familiar application may require users and organizations to transfer existing files, update established workflows and become familiar with alternative tools.

At this time, there is no information indicating that Microsoft plans to continue developing Publisher. This decision is part of Microsoft’s broader product development strategy.

I know this change is unexpected and disappointing, especially for organizations that continue to rely on Publisher. However, I hope you can gradually adapt to the transition and move forward with as little impact on your work as possible. Thank you again for taking the time to share your concerns, and please know that many other users share the same sentiment regarding Publisher's retirement.
