Syncing on Xbox's Microsoft Edge not Working

So, I'm likely in the very small minority of people who actually use Edge on Xbox. Mind you, I don't have a PC and obviously can't be on my mobile device all the time, so I semi-regularly use Edge on Xbox whenever I wanted/needed to browse something. And at some point, got into the habit of playing browser-based itch games—at least the ones that are playable with a controller.

But anyway, around two months ago, if I remember correctly, Edge on Xbox just stopped syncing for whatever reason one day. And the message "Setting up sync" and "Coming soon! We'll turn it on as soon as it's ready" became persistent. The only syncing settings allowed to be on are "Payments using Microsoft account" and "Feature Usage"; but aside from those, everything else has the "coming soon" message. It's only happening on my Xbox; on my mobile device, Edge has all the sync settings enabled, but it's not syncing with the Edge on my Xbox anymore.

To my knowledge, from what I could find, it seems that this was an issue in the past. I've tried resyncing and resetting the sync data, but those didn't work. Everything else I saw, I'm either not tech-literate enough for or already tried, with the exception of clearing the browser cache and cookies. The only reason I haven't—mainly the cache—is because, from what I know about them, there are local browser saves I'd like to keep and can't really export them on Xbox.

    Hi Asteroid Aura

It sounds like you've already tried the most common fixes. Since sync still works on your mobile device and only Edge on Xbox shows the persistent "Setting up sync" /"Coming soon! We'll turn it on as soon as it's ready" message, this appears more likely to be an issue with the Xbox Edge client or sync service rather than your account or local browsing data.

If you want to preserve local browser saves, I'd avoid clearing cookies/site data for now. At this point, submitting feedback through "Report a Problem" on Xbox may be the best next step so the Edge team can investigate.
