- Turn on Let apps access your camera.
- Turn on Microsoft Teams (work or school).

- Open System Settings.
- Select Security & Privacy.
- Under Privacy, select Camera.
- Make sure Microsoft Teams (work or school) is selected.
- Close apps and restart the device.
- If using Teams on the web, allow camera access in the browser

- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Permissions > Camera > select the correct camera and set Sites can ask to use your camera.
- Safari: Preferences > Websites > Camera > set When visiting other websites to Ask or Allow.

- If Windows still does not detect the camera correctly
- Check camera drivers and update them.
- Also verify antivirus or third-party security software is not blocking camera access.
- If the camera still fails
- If using Teams in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, contact the IT admin.
- If browser or device settings are managed by policy, contact the IT admin.
- If the issue appears to be hardware-related, contact the device manufacturer.
